She & Him, referring to Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward released Volume 3 back in May and I still can’t stop listening to it. The duo have been writing, recording and producing their own material roughly since 2007 and it just keeps getting better!

In 2011 Deschanel divorced her ex-husband, Ben Gibbard the vocalist of The Postal Service and Death Cab For Cutie, and I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to hear songs that have nothing to do with those issues. To be honest, the third album by She & Him focuses on a new path, getting over the grudge and moving on.
